Business Requirements
Brown Barron Solicitors required a new IT Support Provider who were able to meet their bespoke and evolving needs with a tailored, adaptable service.
As part of the initial auditing process, iTEK found that the practice’s internal server was end-of-life and required urgent replacement, so this became an utmost priority for the new IT partnership.

iTEK provide a bespoke IT support offering, ensuring that downtime is kept to an absolute minimum, allowing the Brown Barron team to work unimpeded by technical problems.
To address the end-of-life server infrastructure, iTEK consulted closely with the client to understand their needs moving forward – which included continuing to maintain an onsite server infrastructure. As such, iTEK specified, procured and implemented a new server, as well as updating the necessary software platforms in use. Alongside the migration from the old server to the new, iTEK migrated the firm’s on-premise email server to an Office 365 Cloud solution.
This worked to strengthen email security, which was done alongside bolstering endpoint security for laptops and PCs across the business. This generated greater levels of security for in-office working, which was complemented by a multi-factor authenticated VPN solution for secure remote working, ensuring that the Brown Barron team can support their clients with confidence from anywhere.
Since this set of works, iTek have supported Brown Barron with an office-wide Wi-Fi improvement solution, undertaken core business software upgrades and supported an exciting office expansion project.
